Welcome to Court House
Residential Care Home in Devon

A life dedicated to care. That is our philosophy and you'll see it clearly throughout Court House, and all of our care homes.

About

Court House is blessed with a stunning location, situated in the heart of the Devon market town of Cullompton. Cullompton has its share of friendly public houses and warm and welcoming coffee shops, as well as the usual assortment of other shops and amenities.

Our philosophy is ‘helping our residents enjoy life’. As a small home supporting just thirty residents and their families, we are able to put their wishes at the heart of what we do. We try to tailor what we provide to the desired daily routines of those in our care rather than squeeze every resident into a ‘one size fits all’ routine. Therefore, as far as we can, we will encourage our residents to live their own lives their own way.

Praise for Court House Residential Care Home

We pride ourselves on the home’s mission of ‘quality of life for all our residents’ and we are well known throughout Devon for the kindness of our staff. We offer independence, choice, privacy, dignity and respect by our caring staff. This gives our residents a great feeling of security and a family community they are proud to call their home.

“Go the extra mile”
"A small and intimate care home. Staff and residents know each other and genuinely care about residents. Each resident is treated as an individual with individual care needs. The staff are co-operative and helpful to family members and visitors. They 'go the extra mile' to ensure the experience of residents and families is the best it can be, even in difficult circumstances like Covid. Thank you all."

“New lease of life”
“(My mother) is enjoying herself with a completely new lease on life, thanks to the homely environment and friendly caring staff. It is a joy for us to visit frequently to see her in such fine health, thanks to the nursing care mum has benefited from, far better than she received in North London.”

Sandra T, Daughter of resident

“I'm so impressed”
“His confidence came back thanks to the continued homely support, he got from the staff at Court House. I'm so impressed at how efficient the staff have been in dealing with health issues my father has experienced, they don't miss a trick! The staff are particularly great at keeping in contact with me with any issues that may arise and keep me updated. I am truly grateful to all the staff at Court House, for providing such a high level of care for my dad.”

Rachel T, Daughter of resident

“We are so very grateful”
“When mum first arrived at Court House she was frail and frightened. The outstanding care and compassion that she has received from the staff and leadership there have been transformational. Five and a half years later and now in her 90th year, mum is healthy and happy. We are so very grateful.”

Richard B, Son of resident
